The Four Seasons in Japan.(1)Winter-1　日本の四季 1　: 冬-1

There are two types of <em>images</em> <em>(why are you using 'images' is it イメージ=画像?) </em>of Japanese winters to me.
On the Sea of Japan side, it is the image of the scene I imagine is always snowing.
私には二つのタイプの冬のイメージががあります。
日本海側はいつも雪が降っているイメージ

On the Pacific side, it is the image of going through in I picture a fierce northerly gale of north wind.
太平洋側では、激風の北風の中を通り過ぎていくイメージです。

For me, who live in living on the Pacific side, I like to spend a day in winter days being in my cozy room with a kotatsu (a small table with an electric heater underneath and covered by a quilt), and reading a book as eating I eat some mandarins orange.　I feel as if I were am rich.
太平洋側に「住んでる私としては、こたつのある居心地のよい部屋で本を読みながらミカンを食べている冬の日が好きです。豊かになった気分です。

By the way, this winter unaccustomed and has had extraordinarily heavy snowfalls which are often wielding wreaking havoc and having overwhelming　influence everywhere in effect/consequences  throughout Japan
ところで、今年の冬は日本中にいつにない豪雪が猛威をふるっています。

I heard that America also is in a experiencing similar heavy snowing situation this year, just like Japan .
アメリカも又今年は日本のように大雪の状況であると聞きました。

Perhaps, the earth is getting stranger and stranger.
たぶん地球はだんだんおかしくなっているのでしょう

There are two types of images of Japanese winters to me.

（In my mind, there are two images of winter in Japan:)
On the Sea of Japan side, it is the image of always snowing. （or "constantly falling snow." I like this because it sounds a bit more emotional or poetic. )

私には二つのタイプの冬のイメージががあります。
日本海側はいつも雪が降っているイメージ (I could read all of this! yay!)

On the Pacific side, it is the image of a fierce gale of north wind. (<----I think this is enough to get the idea across.)

太平洋側では、激風の北風の中を通り過ぎていくイメージです。

For me myself who live in on the Pacific side, I like a day in winter being spent in my cozy room with a kotatsu (a small table with an electric heater underneath and covered by a quilt), reading a book as I  eating some mandarin oranges.　On those days, I feel as if I were rich.
太平洋側に「住んでる私としては、こたつのある居心地のよい部屋で本を読みながらミカンを食べている冬の日が好きです。豊かになった気分です。

By the way, this winter unaccustomed and extraordinarily heavy snowfalls have frequently created disruptions thoughout Japan
ところで、今年の冬は日本中にいつにない豪雪が猛威をふるっています。

I heard that America, like Japan, also is in a similar heavy snowing situation has had similarly heavy snowfall this year.
アメリカも又今年は日本のように大雪の状況であると聞きました。

Perhaps the earth's climate is getting more and more strange.
たぶん地球はだんだんおかしくなっているのでしょう I know you just say 地球 here, but I though it would be cood to mention that it is specifically the climate that is getting おかしい.
