I have a question.
Which sentence is correct?
①I didn't know that the country also had Golden Week.
②I didn't know that the country also has Golden Week.

they are both correct. the first may be more common / natural because both verbs are in the past tense.
But if the fact is true and always true, it is perfectly okay to say "has"
