Simon is an excellent teacher. He is very patient and able to quickly identify areas where you need improvement, offering practical solutions to help you overcome them. Simon is a teacher by trade and it shows. He is patient, kind and encouraging but, as any teacher should, he listens carefully to what you say, identifying problems and providing excellent feedback. He completely understands the structure of his own language and is able to explain clearly why something is the way it is. He is also funny and interesting in his own right, so you are unlikely to run out of conversation! I can't recommend Simon's lessons enough.

My 9 year old son learned al lot and gained more confidence speaking and writing Dutch. Simon is an excellent teacher, he explains things well and is patient and motivating.

Simon is very good at putting the student at ease to speak, including on more technical and advanced topics. He also has an in-depth knowledge of the Dutch language that will be of interest to anyone wanting to go further in their study of the language.

Simon is a very professional and patience teacher. I am glad I found him after having unprofessional lessons with different teachers here. After one week of lessons , I think that in only a couple of weeks I will reach level A2 for spoken Dutch and probably reach level B1 for spoken Dutch in a month. Due to his wide languages knowledge, relevant academic background and professional experience in real schools, he is also able to provide effective tools for memorizing everything. The fact that he is Belgian doesn't make a difference as he is speaking with you and teaches you Dutch like the one spoken in the Netherlands. This is due to his academic and professional experience as a Dutch teacher (spoken in the Netherlands) in real schools and also that part of his family is from there. If you are looking for fast results then he is definitely the teacher for you.
