As a native Dutch speaker who has lived and worked abroad for over seven years, I deeply understand the complexities and beauty of learning a new language. I’ve studied several languages myself - i.e. Spanish, German, French, English, Indonesian, and Latin - to various degrees of success (for instance, don't ask me to string together a sentence in French or Spanish, despite the years of study I had in high school!) so I know firsthand the challenges you might face and which approaches did and did not work for me.
I have both Dutch (mom) and Indonesian (dad) heritage, and have been working, living, and actively learning Bahasa Indonesia in Indonesia for the past 5 years.지도 경험
I’m excited to offer personalized Dutch language tutoring for students of all backgrounds and levels. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
While I may not be an officially certified language teacher, I bring over four years of experience as a study and thesis mentor. I’ve successfully guided hundreds of Dutch and international students from diverse (study)backgrounds, including neurodivergent learners, in overcoming challenges, reducing stress, understanding feedback, sprucing up academic skills, and ultimately achieving academic success in their university journey.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
Language learning is possible at any age - you already have the tools and skills needed to succeed as you have already acquired a language (your own!). With the right mindset and a positive attitude, we’ll build your confidence and celebrate small victories to keep you motivated. Lessons are personalized to your interests, ensuring immediate application. I’ll adapt to your progress and how you learn best and provide a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment.
