No pain AND gain! Learn grammar naturally through conversation practice with an experienced teacher! I never learned a language in school, I learned on my feet. As a teacher I emphasise practicality and straightforwardness. As soon as you know three words, I’ll ask you to put them into a sentence. With me you won’t be ‘taught’ per se, you will be invited to learn by doing, to try things out, and to accumulate competence upon what you already know. My students quickly learn to ask me ‘can I say…? (voinks mä sanoa…?)’ followed by something they have just formulated. Before long, they start to create perfectly applicable and natural sounding Finnish sentences (which can often be short and make absolutely no sense when translated to English) by applying Finnish the same way Finns do.

My lessons are flexible and tailored to your needs. We can focus on grammar, conversation practice, or real-life situations for adapting to Finland.
