I think we made some progress as we practised more introductory things. Adam is nice to talk to. I just wish he was a little easier on himself for not remembering certain things sometimes. Fluency comes with time and lots of practice.

Since it was our first lesson, my goal was to be able to understand what Adam needs and how best that can be achieved. I think I have a fair idea about how to proceed. Looking forward to the next lesson.

- Wrote in Hindi in class. The other day in CSE205 class, I was bored from the lecture so I just wrote in Hindi for 1 hour with a pencil and without using other sources but my mind & memory. There was an Indian girl sitting to my left so I thought I'd show her after the 1 hour was up. She said it was well written with some small errors. However, I'll admit I was really just trying to write anything down I immediate thought of so what I wrote is pretty random at places. Here's what I wrote without any editing: "नमस्ते जी। मेरा नाम ऍडम है और आपका नाम अनुराधा है। मैं एरिज़ोना से हूँ और आप मंबाई से हैं। मैं बाइस साल का हूँ। ASU में, मैं गणित पढ़ता हूँ। मैं 5th साल में हूँ। मेरा पसंदीदा class नंबर theory था। वह class में, बहुत मज़ा आया। मैं बहुत बड़ा लंबा नहीं हूँ। क्योंकी, मेरे परिवार बड़े लंबे नहीं हैं। मुझे हिंदी सीखना पसंद है। मैं भारत और खुदा प्यार से हूँ। आजकल हम CSE205 कक्षा में। आप से मिलकर खुशी हूई। मेरा बाल रंग लगभग काला है। मेरा आंख रंग भूरा है। मेरे जूते काला हैं (और मेरे मोज़े)। Yay मेरे कपड़े के लिए...। अभी, यह कागज़ मेरा मेज़ पर, लेकन, फ़िर यह आपका मेज़ पर करोंगा। यह कक्षा में, तीन दारवाज़े हैं और चार दीवार हैं। अभी हम एक कर्सी पर हैं। I guess आपका पसंदीदा फल आम है, आवश्यकती <-- not really| मेरा पसंदीदा फल अनन्नास है। मेरा पसंदीदा सब्ज़ी गाजर नहीं है। हम fresh हैं और पौष्टिक काना हैं।"2016년 10월 3일40

Do at-least 30-50 vocabulary.com challenge questions per day. Practice a list on Vocabulary.com often until you've masters on the words and move on to the next list. Read 4-6 Aldaily.com articles per day and write about them on your blog. Use freerice.com often to learn English vocabulary while simultaneously feeding people rice. Lastly use the GRE Magoosh's vocabulary list to use the spaced repetition method for learning vocabulary.0명 응답함2016년 6월 23일0 Some people value certain things enough to take the risk of breaking the law in order to obtain it. For example in the case of those that are in poverty they may go to extremes in order to get the food that they require. Or for those who've become highly addicted to illegal drug use (they may have tried illegal drugs to experiment with new feelings or to fit in with the popular crowd at their school) and build a high tolerance for that drug they start to go to the extreme as to have that same pleasure again (or to prevent really horrible withdrawal symptoms). I remember when I was drinking 2 energy drinks a day and then I all of a sudden quit cold turkey. The withdrawal symptoms were brutal. I couldn't image the withdrawal symptoms of those who are highly addicted to illegal drugs and alcohol. Or in another case, maybe a boyfriend/girlfriend breaks up with that person and they felt like that boyfriend/girlfriend meant the whole world to them (that they did not have anything else) and they may do anything to try and get that person back (sometimes in an irrational way that can get them in trouble). Similarly for divorces. The last example I will give will be the case that their religious beliefs may cause them to do anything. For example the Westboro baptist church is willing to throw "he's going to hell" at families in which somebody died in battle abroad, or at LGBT people. To them they believe it's okay because they believe that it is what God wants them to do (I don't agree with them but they're compelled by their beliefs). However I do believe in freedom of speech. Another example are radical Muslims who are willing to do acts of terror towards others, or even commit suicide for their beliefs (I'm not claiming Islam teaches them to do that, that's for a different discussion altogether, just that they believe that Islam teaches that).

Once it's downloaded and installed you click on Baraha Direct on your Desktop and you should see a EN symbols show up at the bottom right of your windows screen. Click it go to Hindi and click on Unicode. You have to do this every time you restart your computer (unless you set your computer up to open it every time you restart your Computer). Then you can switch back between your language and Hindi using F11.

Once this is done go to https://quizlet.com/ and make your own flash cards to memorize all the characters. Then later start making flashcards to learn words, etc.. I became very familiar with all the Hindi letters very quickly this way.
