IELTS Speaking

Before your first lesson or trial lesson, I will send you an IELTS Writing task to complete. In your first lesson or trial lesson, we will do an IELTS Speaking test (but very friendly and relaxed)!

I will then send you a personalised learning plan to show you what you need to improve to increase your band score in both Speaking and Writing.

Each lesson, we will then work on grammar mistakes in your speaking and/or writing, your pronunciation mistakes in speaking and other difficulties that you have in speaking and writing.

We will look at different task types and practise answering questions.

Before your first lesson or trial lesson, I will send you an IELTS Listening test, Reading test and Writing task to complete. In your first lesson, we will do an IELTS Speaking test (but very friendly and relaxed)!

After that, I will send you a personalised plan to show you which question types and task types you need to practise, and also what grammar and pronunciation mistakes you need to work on.

Each lesson, we will then work on these question types and task types, as well as the grammar mistakes and pronunciation errors you make so that you can improve your IELTS score across all 4 skills - reading, listening, speaking and writing.

This means that I have recent, up-to-date knowledge all about the IELTS test from an IELTS expert at the British Council.

I taught EAP (English for Academic Purposes) to groups of Chinese students.
I taught on the pre-sessional course which is for students who did not score highly enough on their IELTS tests. 
My job was to improve their English enough to pass the assessment tests at the end of the course, so that they could  be accepted onto their degree programme at the university.
