INTRODUCTION: When I was a kid in school, I looked forward to “Show-n-Tell,” in which we got to share things we really wanted to with the class. So, I thought, all the big kids at heart- YOU -would enjoy it too. Join us to share about things you really want to related to specific themes. Basically, you’ll share something related to the theme by verbally telling the group about it AND visually showing it to us in the way you choose. Creativity is welcome! TODAY’S SHOW-N-TELL THEME: Where You're From IN THIS CLASS: (1) You will verbally tell us about something related to the specific theme. (2) You will visually show us something related to what you chose to tell us about related to the specific theme. THIS CLASS IS FOR: (1) Those who have good speaking and listening skills. (2) Those who want to share and listen to others share about a specific theme. MATERIALS NEEDED: Show-n-Tell Help Sheet (download from lesson page) PREPARATION: (1) Choose what you want to share related to the specific theme. (2) Prepare a brief presentation (between 3-5 minutes) of what you want to verbally tell and visually show the group about what you’ve chosen to share. For suggestions of ways to share and an example, check-out the “Show-n-Tell” Help Sheet. (3) Decide the name you prefer the teacher and group members to call you during the session, and enter it as your Display Name on Zoom. NOTE: I want this to be an enjoyable experience. So, be relaxed. Preparing what you want to share before class helps you be better organized in what you share and reduces the chance of not knowing what to say or do which can cause you to be nervous.
