I've helped Germans improve their English for 9 years and have taught German for almost 8 years. First, I started acquiring students on a local basis in Berlin and then offered to tutor people abroad. Later I taught German to foreign prisoners in the JVA-Tegel (Tegel prison); thus, I learned how to behave professionally and understand even in stressful situations. My knowledge of German grammar goes beyond the C1 and C2 levels, and I am sure that I can help you improve yours without much effort and, more importantly, without pressure! I am patient and use several different techniques to teach.

I have taught German and English in several different circumstances. During my early internships in China I organized basic German and business level English trainings. In the German Chamber of Commerce, I was also involved in editing a yearly bi-language training brochure for special trainings in Shanghai. But I also taught English and German for a year in kindergarten, where I focused on fun in acquiring a new language. In Germany I mainly taught German privately, mainly focusing on the Testdaf-exam but also the German high school-diploma Abitur. Occasionally, I also prepared students for the TOEFL-Exam.

I have been working as a German and English tutor since 2012 and I first began while I was still working on my undergraduate programme. Since 2014 I have been an active in-person and online tutor/teacher. After completing the CELTA in 2016, I also taught General English (B1-C2 levels) and Exams (FCE) at International House Minsk in Belarus in addition to meeting with my online students. I have experience teaching German at all levels and English from Low Intermediate to Advanced, including general language acquisition, reading/writing skills for both native and non-native speakers, intensive grammar and exams.
