I hold a Magistra Artium in Ethnology, Archaeology, and Sociology and worked as an archaeologist in Peru. In 2016 I started to teach German, face-to-face and online. My lessons are tailored to your goals—conversation, grammar, or culture—and are both practical and fun. Now based in Spain. I have several years of teaching experience especially with children aged between 12 and 16. My aim is to make language learning fun and efficient for everyone focusing mostly on conversations about every day life topics. The most important thing for me is to take your fear away and support you to become confident speaking your target language. I'm calm and patient and try to correct mistakes at the end of the conversation instead of interrupting my students in the middle of a sentence since making mistakes is unavoidable yet essential if you want to become fluent in a language.

I want to help you feel more at ease when you speak German. As a journalist I am used to talking with people I´ve never met before, and being a passionate language learner myself, I know what it´s like to struggle to speak a foreign language. I know that mistakes are not a bad thing, but part of the learning process.

Having learned a few languages myself, I know how important it is to keep lessons engaging and practical. That's why I try to do as many interactive exercises and drills as possible while keeping the grammar stuff to a minimum, where possible. But the truth is, you will have to learn some grammar when learning German, there's no way around it. But I promise I'll make sure to make the grammar parts as fun and engaging as possible. Plus I provide all the teaching material and exercise sheets, so you won't have to worry about getting books or anything like that.

relaxed german conversations ich würde sagen ich bin eine geduldige Lehrerin und lasse dem Schüler Zeit in aller Ruhe die Sätze zu konstruieren.( jedenfalls hoffe ich das haha) Das grösste Problem ist, finde ich, dass Leute sich unter Druck gefühlt setzen eine Sprache in kurzer Zeit beherrschen zu müssen und schnell in selbiger Sprache antworten zu müssen. Wenn man sich weniger unter Druck gesetzt fühlt, kann man sich auch besser ausdrücken. Ausserdem versuche ich das Selbstbewusstein des Schülers in der Sprache zu stärken.
