The main areas of teaching English as a foreign language that I have specialized in are General English, Business English, English for Academic Purposes, Critical Thinking and IELTS exam Preparation. Over the last several years, I have taught on numerous pre-sessional courses for students preparing to take a BA or MA degree in UK or Australian based universities. Over my teaching career, I have instructed students of various ages, nationalities and backgrounds and I have a lot of experience teaching learners on a one-to-one basis. In terms of credentials, I have gained a BA in Music, an MA in Education, and the English Language teaching qualifications of CELTA and DELTA.

I’m a professional English teacher (CELTA certified), language coach, writing tutor, and conversation partner at the same time. I have taught more than 3,000 classes on italki. My students inspire me to constantly improve as a teacher and learn more about different cultures, languages, and professions. Becoming “fluent” in a language is a lifelong process. I want to encourage you to enjoy the journey of learning English.
