I’m a Texas-based tutor with a background in tech and a Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies. My journey on iTalki actually began as a student, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language firsthand. Before teaching, I spent several years as a Technology Support Specialist in K-12 education. While I didn't teach students directly, I was responsible for the essential technology that powered their learning. Today, I use that same technical precision and my TEFL certification to help adult learners reach their goals. I offer two main styles of lessons. In my Free Conversation sessions, we enjoy a zero-stress environment focused on expressing thoughts and building confidence. In my Materials Review class, we can analyze articles, books, or professional documents. You are welcome to bring your own materials or use resources I provide. When I’m not teaching, I’m usually playing video games, catching 'em all in Pokemon, reading manga, or learning new languages and tech skills.
