I have experience teaching students from all over the world with many different cultural backgrounds and learning styles. I tailor the sessions to your own learning preferences and skill sets. I am a full-time teacher, meaning that my schedule is open throughout the day and students can choose the class times that best suit them. I put all of my energy and enthusiasm into teaching my students. You can tell me your special needs, and I will do my best to help. My lessons aim to get you using the language for fluency.

I feel like I'm more of a friendly face correcting your errors and pushing you to practice and talk. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!

I have taught in private schools and universities, provided basic literacy training for asylum-seekers, and worked one-on-one with students of all levels from all over the world. I hold a degree in Occupational Psychology. I completed university courses in teaching Italian as a foreign language, and I continue to take refresher courses in online language teaching.
