I think self-correction really helps to notice progress and gain awareness of the language. I focus a lot on conversation, but I also teach grammar. My goal is to keep the lessons relaxed and natural, so learning feels easier and more enjoyable.

I am a qualified teacher of Italian for speakers of other languages, with a degree from Siena University. I began teaching in 2009, and I can't stop it. Home and abroad, I like to meet students from all over the world with an interest in my native language, to encourage their development and success.

I started teaching at the age of 16 in linguistic centres in Italy, I would teach English and American pronunciation, and I continue to teach to this day. Throughout my career, I've handled all age groups, from toddlers to 70+ students, and all sorts of contexts, from 1-2-1 business English lessons to full classrooms in public schools.

I'm a patient and empathetic teacher. I want you to feel comfortable and safe while learning and improving italian. Don't be afraid to fail, we are here to spend some fun time toghether and learn something new each other! I can't wait to talk to you!

Cambridge English teacher and examiner with nine years teaching experience in schools and companies I graduated in Spanish with English Language at Westminster University in London, in 2011, and that's when I first started considering teaching. I took my DITALS (Italian Teaching certificate) in 2012, and started teaching English privately at the same time. I then took my TEFL certification in 2016 and straight after that I began teaching English professionally. I taught Business English in Florence for two years, then I moved to Sicily where I currently teach English to children, teenagers and adults. I've also taught Italian privately to foreign students, such as Japanese, English and Americans.
