So, working with these people helped me to understand some common struggles among students. I assisted these peers mainly with grammar, conversation practice, pronunciation, listening, and accent reduction. Many of my students after some classes became more confident to speak in English. They could understand me and other people, beyond achieving their goals like being admitted at job interviews and different applications.

I believe that learning a language is like learning how to swim. You can only learn it if you do it. There's no use learning lots of grammar rules if you can't practice them in a real conversation. That's why in my lessons I teach not only grammar and vocabulary, but I also create situations in which my students will be able to use the structures we see.
