lǎoshī：jīntiān jǐdiǎn chūfā ？
Teacher：What time do you start off today?

学生：早上8点10分，我先去参观故宫，然后去景山公园。
xuésheng：zǎoshang 8 diǎn10 fēn,wǒ xiān qù cānguān gùgōng,ránhòu qù jǐng shān gōng yuán.
Student: At 8:10am, I will first go to visit the Forbidden City and then go to Jingshan Park.

老师：你打算在哪儿吃午饭？
 lǎoshī：nǐ dǎ suàn zài nǎ ér chī wǔ fàn ？
Teacher: Where are you going to have lunch?

学生：听说故宫附近有很多好吃的，就去那儿。
xuésheng: tīngshuō gùgōng fùjìn yǒu hěnduō hǎochī de, jiù qù nàr.
Student: I heard there are many delicious foods near the Forbidden City, so I‘ll just go there.

老师：下午有什么安排？
 lǎoshī：xiàwǔ yǒu shénme ānpái ？
Teacher: What plans do you have in the afternoon?

学生：下午两点半去颐和园，晚上去看京剧。
xuésheng：xiàwǔ liǎngdiǎnbàn qù yí hé yuán，wǎnshang qù kàn jīngjù .
Student: I'll go to the Summer Palace at 2:30 pm and watch Beijing Opera in the evening.

老师：听起来不错！
 lǎoshī：tīng qilai bùcuò ！
Teacher: Sounds good!

New words:
几点 jǐ diǎn：what time; when
Tell time: num.+点diǎn-o'clock+num.+分fēn- minute：8 diǎn10 fēn ）
先...然后...xiān ... rán hòu ...：first...then...
参观cān guān：visit; look around
听 tīng：listen；hear（听说 tīng shuō～hear of；听起来 tīng qi lai～sound；
p.s：v.+起来qǐ lai，this is used here to express that the speaker has only just initiated an action, and based on that, has made a preliminary judgment.
两点半 liǎng diǎn bàn：half past two（2:30）
早上 zǎoshang：early morning
下午 xià wǔ：afternoon
晚上 wǎnshang：evening
p.s：饭fàn meal/cooked rice，早饭 zǎo fàn、午饭 wǔ fàn、晚饭 wǎn fàn
不错 bù cuò：not bad

In this short dialogue we will listen to a couple discussing the time. Pay attention to different phrases they use to tell time!

Transcript: 
NATASHA: What time is it? We’re going to be late!
TONY: It’s a quarter after seven. We’re on time. Don’t panic.
NATASHA: But I thought we had to be at the restaurant by 7:30 for the surprise party. We’ll never make it there with all this evening traffic.
TONY: Sure we will. Rush hour is almost over. Anyway, the party starts at 8:00. But I do need help with directions. Can you call the restaurant and ask them where we park our car?
