拔苗助长
ɡǔ shí hòu yǒu ɡè nónɡ mín， 
古时候有个农民，
tā xī wànɡ zì jǐ tián li de hé miáo zhǎnɡ de kuài xiē， 
他希望自己田里的禾苗长得快些，
tiān tiān dào tián biān qù kàn。 
天天到田边去看。
hái měi tiān dōu yònɡ yì bǎ chǐ zi qù liánɡ， 
还每天都用一把尺子去量，
kàn kan hé miáo zhǎnɡ ɡāo le duō shǎo。 
看看禾苗长高了多少。
kě shì，jǐ tiān ɡuò qù le， 
可是，几天过去了，
hé miáo hǎo xiànɡ yì diǎnr yě méi yǒu zhǎnɡ ɡāo。 
禾苗好像一点儿也没有长高。
tā zài tián biān jiāo jí de zhuàn lái zhuàn qù， 
他在田边焦急地转来转去，
zì yán zì yǔ de shuō: 
自言自语地说:
“wǒ děi xiǎnɡ ɡè bàn fǎ bānɡ tā men zhǎnɡ de ɡènɡ kuài yì diǎnr。” 
“我得想个办法帮它们长得更快一点儿。”
yì tiān，tā zhōnɡ yú xiǎnɡ chū le bàn fǎ， 
一天，他终于想出了办法，
jiù jí mánɡ pǎo dào tián li， 
就急忙跑到田里，
bǎ suǒ yǒu de hé miáo dōu bá ɡāo le yì diǎnr。 
把所有的禾苗都拔高了一点儿。
cónɡ zhōnɡ wǔ yì zhí mánɡ dào tài yánɡ luò shān， 
从中午一直忙到太阳落山，
nònɡ de jīn pí lì jìn。 
弄得筋疲力尽。
tā huí dào jiā li，yì biān chuǎn qì yì biān shuō: 
他回到家里，一边喘气一边说:
“jīn tiān kě bǎ wǒ lèi huài le! 
“今天可把我累坏了!
lì qì zǒnɡ suàn méi bái fèi， 
力气总算没白费，

禾苗都长高了很多。”
