Omschrijving
This is not a lesson but a programme: the answer to 'what exactly should I do tomorrow?' Thirty days, fifteen minutes a day, and four rules: speak aloud daily, practise at the same time every day, never restart after a missed day, and record yourself on days one, fifteen and thirty. Week one is the survival core, week two the verb in all three tenses plus questions, and week three real life: family, feelings, money, time and politeness. Week four is fluency behaviours such as the repair kit, describing things you cannot name, giving an opinion and the phone call. Words and phrases in this class: നമസ്കാരം (namaskaaram) – hello എനിക്ക് വെള്ളം വേണം (enikku vellam venam) – I want water കഴിച്ചു (kazhichu) – ate പോകും (pokum) – will go വരും (varum) – will come കഴിച്ചോ? (kazhicho?) – have you eaten? എനിക്ക് വിശക്കുന്നു (enikku vishakkunnu) – I'm hungry പക്ഷേ (pakshe) – but കാരണം (kaaranam) – because അതുകൊണ്ട് (athukondu) – so, therefore പിന്നെ (pinne) – then, later പതുക്കെ (pathukke) – slowly എനിക്ക് മനസ്സിലായില്ല (enikku manassilaayilla) – I don't understand In this class: • Four rules, including what to do after a missed day • Week one: greetings, aanu, undu and illa, wants and numbers • Weeks two and three: three tenses, questions, family, money and politeness • Week four: repair, opinions, register and the phone call, then the three recordings Quizzes below.
