はい、こんにちは。今回はポッドキャストのシーズン３の４回目です。もう3月ですが、まだ寒い日が続きます。そういえば、久しぶりに新しい記事を書きました。形容詞の活用についての記事です。私のウェブサイトにあるので、形容詞を復習したい人は見てください。

Hello. This is episode 4 of season 3 of my podcast. It is already March, but the weather is still cold. Speaking of which, I have written a new article for the first time in a while. The article is about conjugating adjectives. It is on my website. Please take a look at it if you want to review adjectives.

私は最近、お腹が痛かったです。痛みが何日も続いて、原因がわかりませんでした。最近毎日仕事をしていたので、胃潰瘍になったかもしれないと思いました。胃潰瘍は、胃の病気です。今週レッスンが終わった後、すぐに近所の病院に行きました。お腹が痛いと歩くのが大変です。うちから近所の病院まで歩いて10分ぐらいですが、30分ぐらいに感じました。私は車を持っていないので、こういうときは車を持っている人を羨ましく感じます。

I have had a stomach ache lately. The pain lasted for days and I could not figure out the cause. I thought I might have an ikaiyou because I had been working every day recently. An ikaiyou (a stomach ulcer) is a stomach problem. I went to a local hospital right after I finished my lessons this week. It is hard to walk when your stomach hurts. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from my house to the neighborhood hospital, but it felt like 30 minutes. I don't have a car, so at times like this I envy those who do.

病院で診てもらったところ、「食中毒かもしれない」と言われました。最近、普段買わない魚を自分で料理して食べたので、それが原因かもしれません。私は「胃潰瘍の検査を受けたい」と頼みましたが、「胃がとても腫れているので、今日は胃カメラを使った検査はできない」と断られました。その日は点滴をして、薬をもらって、帰りました。なので、原因がまだわかりません。食中毒なら2、3日で治るはずです。薬を飲んでいるうちに、痛みはよくなりました。

Hi everyone!! I know it’s been a loooong long time since we met on this channel. I’m so glad I can finally do this again.

This is 6th Episode of Thai T-la-nid Podcast and we are going to learn five expressions that you can use when you see someone after a long time. Ok, เริ่มกันเลยค่ะ!! Let’s go!

1. ไม่ได้เจอกันนานเลย (mâi-dâai jer gan naan loiie) = Long time no see! 

ไม่ได้ (mâi-dâai) + verb = didn’t do sth
เจอกัน (jer gan) = to meet each other 
เลย (loiie) = at all, totally, extremely 


2. เป็นยังไงบ้าง (bpen yang-ngai bâang) = How are you? How have you been?
เป็น (bpen) = to be
ยังไง (yang-ngai) = how 
บ้าง = an ending particle (when you expect multiple answers or when the answer can be anything)


3. สบายดีไหม (sà-baai-dee mái) = Are you doing well? Have you been well?
สบายดี sà-baai-dee = to be well
ไหม (mái) = yes-no particle


4. คิดถึงมาก (kít-tĕung mâak) = I miss you. I missed you.
คิดถึง (kít-tĕung) = to miss 
มาก (mâak) = very


5. คิดถึงกันไหม (kít-tĕung gan mái) = Do you miss me/each other? 
กัน (gan) = each other


Now let’s repeat again.

1. ไม่ได้เจอกันนานเลย  (mâi-dâai jer gan naan loiie) = Long time no see.
2. เป็นยังไงบ้าง (bpen yang-nagi bâang) = How are you? How have you been?
3. สบายดีไหม (sà-baai-dee mái) = Are you doing well? Have you been well?
4. คิดถึงมาก (kít-tĕung mâak) = I miss you. I missed you.
5. คิดถึงกันไหม (kít-tĕung gan mái) = Do you miss me/each other?

All right, you can choose some of theses expressions in you conversation with someone depending on your relationship. Hope this episode is helpful for you.
