Malayalam Only — At Work: Four Office Conversations Across One Day | Learn Malayalam #285
Omschrijving
Nine o'clock, eleven o'clock and on through the day — four short office conversations at normal speed.
Morning small talk about traffic, a quick project meeting about deadlines and missing data, and the everyday Malayalam-English mix of a Kerala office. No slow version — this is how colleagues actually talk. The whole class is in Malayalam — listen for the shape first, let the rest wash over you, and replay it daily for a week.
Words and phrases you will hear:
നേരത്തെ എത്തിയല്ലോ (nerathe ethiyallo) – you're early today
ബ്ലോക്ക് ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു (block illaayirunnu) – there wasn't any traffic
ഭാഗ്യം (bhaagyam) – lucky
ചായ കുടിച്ചോ? (chaaya kudicho?) – have you had tea?
ഒരുമിച്ച് പോകാം (orumichu pokaam) – let's go together
എല്ലാവരും വന്നോ? (ellaavarum vanno?) – has everyone come?
അയാൾ ലീവാണ് (ayaal leevaanu) – he is on leave
എന്നാൽ തുടങ്ങാം (ennaal thudangaam) – then let's start
എപ്പോഴേക്ക് തീരും? (eppozhekku theerum?) – when will it be finished?
ഉറപ്പാണോ? (urappaano?) – are you sure?
ഒരു പ്രശ്നമുണ്ട് (oru prashnamundu) – there's a problem
ഡാറ്റ ഇതുവരെ കിട്ടിയിട്ടില്ല (data ithuvare kittiyittilla) – the data hasn't come yet
