Why do we use the Past Continuous tense?

یک روز باد و خورشید سر اینکه کدامشان قویتر است باهم بحث میکردند. آخر سر تصمیم گرفتند باهم مسابقه بدهند تا ببینند کدام قوی تر است.

مردی داشت از آن حوالی رد میشد خورشید گفت: "بیا ببینیم کدام از یک ما میتواند کت این مرد را از تنش دربیاورد؟"

باد قبول کرد. اول قرار شد باد امتحان کند.

باد همه ی قدرتش را جمع کرد و وزید و وزید و وزید. اما مرد نه تنها کتش را درنیاورد، بلکه کتش را بیشتر به خودش پیچید.

بعد نوبت خورشید شد.

قدرتش را جمع کرد و شروع کردن به تابیدن.

خورشید انقدر تابید و آفتاب را پهن کرد روی زمین، تا مرد گرمش شد و کتش را درآورد.

خورشید در مسابقه برنده شد.
