Seeing our beliefs or opinions as a third party is one of the ways to cope with struggle or one way to see yourself better. I wouldn't say it makes you see them objectively because I have tried it many times and still feel I see things better but still I see them from my own opinions and knowledge. I wouldn't say it makes you see your struggles objectively because I have tried it many times and even thought I have a more optimistic view of it, I still feel like I see these things from my own point of view.
