Hi, everyone, can I say 'You don't drive as carefully as me'? Or 'as I do' is the only correct option? Thanks ahead

Native English speakers struggle with this, too! Your sentence is very natural and would sound good to most English speakers (including me). However, “as I do” and “as I” are technically the correct options. In other words, they’re not what people always say, but they’re what grammar books would recommend.

Phemie is correct, that "as I do" is grammatically correct. However, "as me" is used colloquially by most native English speakers far more often than "as I do." So while it is technically incorrect to use "as me," it is more natural in speech. I still suggest that you use "as I do" in proper writing, however.
Personally, I wish that native English speakers did use correct grammar in speech. But the truth is that most do not. So to speak like a native, you sometimes have to speak incorrectly.

In spoken English, we use both versions.
A professor might say that one is more correct than the other,
but normal people say it both ways.
Удачи!
