Two ways:
1) I don’t want to dismay you *by* telling you this, but...
2) I don’t want to dismay you *with* this information...

Ian is correct. But noted that "dismay" is not a commonly used word. We would more likely say "I don't want to upset you (by telling you this/with this information)"

I would go page by page. There might be some words in there that are not really used very often in every day spoken English. I’m learning Hebrew and now I’m learning Greek. I wanted to know what the original Hebrew and the original Greek actually said.
