The sun is shining brightly today with stripes of cumulus clouds decorating the sky. As I woke up this morning, I noticed a painful blister on my lip which made my face look rather amusing. Sometimes, even minor issues can snowball into bigger problems. I was careful not to smack my lips or speak too forcefully, (being) afraid it might trigger the blister to burst. My mom warned that if it did, the pus might spread and cause further infection. It's been a tough day so far, but I'm trying to stay positive.
