The Greatest Invention Ever In my opinion, the greatest invention ever is the electricity. I don't know exactly who invented it, because there were many inventors who worked with electricity. Officially, the lightbulb was invented by Thomas Edison, but Benjamin Franklin discovered electricity with his kite in the middle of the storm, or Alexandre Volta manipulated electricity in a battery, which was the first source of continuous current. Also, Florence Parpat, a great woman who invented the modern electric fridge. Thanks to electricity, many electrical and electronic components/gadgets/appliances have been invented like computers, mobile phones, tv and so on. From my point of view, if there were not electricity, humanity would have a big problem. Hospitals wouldn't work, it will be very difficult to transport goods, which are essential to the population. Many kitchens wouldn't work, because all works with electricity. I wish humanity could invent a renewable electricity to have a quiet live without worries.
