In China we celebrate the Lunar New Year and we call it the "Chinese Spring Festival." I think May is close to the Spring season. All Chinese people will go to their hometown and get together with their family to spend the festival when they are available. This is what the festival is mostly about. We also have a variety of activities such as ancestor worship and paying a New Year call. You will receive gifts as money. We receive these gifts through a red envelope when you pay a New Year call. This is my favorite activity in the Chinese Lunar New Year. Another interesting activity is shooting off firecrackers. It’s very lively and the children’s favorite activity to do. At last, we will watch the Spring Festival Gala. Although, in recent years, it has become a bit boring😂.
