Is this sentence below natural and correct? Could I say:" cliched strategy"? The company's dependence on traditional advertisements proved to be a cliched strategy in the digital age, as consumers now require more personalized and intelligent recommendations. Thank you very much.~

It's a matter of style. You can say it, it is clear, it is understandable. I don't like the word choice. A "cliché" usually means a) the exact repetition b) of a phrase--a phrase that has been overused, to the point of being annoying. I don't think a _strategy_ can really be "clichéd." I think "outdated" would be a better word choice. Another possibility is "inappropriate."

I agree with Dan - it's not necessarily wrong, but probably not the best word. Something like OBSOLETE, OUTDATED makes more sense to me.
