Hi everyone,
I know that include is a verb while including is a preposition .However, they made me confuse when it comes to their usage. So, what are differences between them and “included” ?
Any explanations are welcome!

Including introduces a clause.
Include/ included almost always need to have a subject before them in the sentence
Examples
-they gave us a list, which includes/included a few books
- there was a list of things, including a few books
- the book talked about many things, including friendship and adventure
- the things that were discussed in the book include friendship and adventure
Hopefully I explained it ok, it’s a difficult thing to explain. There’s no difference in meaning, the sentence just has to be formed differently
