Hello! May I ask some questions about the difference between 'open' (as an adjective) and 'opened' (as a verb)?
1) Is it correct to say these two sentences?
a) The shop is newly opened.
b) The shop just opened recently.
2) Do we need to say sentence (a) in the past tense?
The shop was newly opened.
3) What is the difference between these sentences?
a) The shop is newly opened.
b) It is a newly opened shop.
Thank you!

1a--that's fine; 1b is fine but eliminate the "just" or "recently" to make it better.
2--yes, past perfect is good here.
3--these are very similar. I would say the subtle difference is the "a" has more emphasis on the shop so could possibly be preferable, but really they have essentially identical meaning. A subtle matter of taste, really.
