Which is the difference between "to sell" and "for selling ". I'm a little confused with these structures.
For instance in the sentence:
▪︎I made a cake for selling it to my friends.
Or
▪︎I made a cake to sell it to my friends.
Which is correct ? Or Which is more formal ?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Darwin, "for selling" is not the correct word choice. The word choice you're looking for is "for sale".
The word sell is refers to the act of giving or handing something over in exchange for cash. Sale is also the process of selling.
"I made a cake to sell to my friends" would be correct.
