One of my biggest dream is that one of millions of illiterate children from Romania, who has already graduated the primary school, to be strong enough to sue the school itself. We’ve been talking for so many years to include financial educational or sexual education classes in the school curriculum. If we decide to take a look on the catalogue, we probably conclude the pupil was assessed with good marks, telling us he’s always been to school and never ever repeted the scholar year. If you ask a pupil to write something on the paper or ask him to read something in romanian, we will probably conclude that he doesn’t know to read or write. And that is the moment when you ask yourself why did it happen? What is the responsability of the professor? Just going to the school in order to take an average salary at the end of the month? For me this is called as educational malpractice. The autorities are bragging with the investments made in the buildings school, but they don’t have any idea about the fact that there are children who don’t even know how to read a text, to write down something in romanian, but they have good marks in the catalogue. Hence, it’s tough to talk about one thing we should learn in the school, even if we are talking about a discipline or something else.
