Hi! What is the correct preposition to fill in the blank? I know the verb "provide" is usually followed by either "for" or "with", does that mean there are two possible options? I chose "for," but I'm not sure if it's correct since no answer is given. đ„șđđ»
"Each observations should provide "value added" applications ____ existing environmental services, property title holders and process driven financial firms, while creating greater liquidity within the corporations that use them."

It looks to me like PROVIDE uses no preposition in the case. i.e. a simplified version of the sentence would be: 'Each operation should provide applications.'
The preposition in the blank relates APPLICATIONS to the clauses that follow, and does not involve PROVIDE.
So, the question is, 'what kind of applications?'
The answer is 'applications FOR existing systems, etc. etc. . . .
Hope that helps.

Hi Shana. Yes, youâre right. Here itâs provide FOR. You provide a service for others.
Provide with means to supply. For the Maths exam we were all provided with pens, paper and a calculator. It means we were given these items. They were provided for us by the school. We were provided with these things.
