It means “dance performance.” The word “recital” is usually used for music performance or reading aloud of literary texts (particularly poetry). However, it’s also appropriate for dance performance, since just as with music and poetry, the artist is reproducing/interpreting an artistic work that exists in written form/as a text/series of instructions.

Hi! It is a performance done at a program by a dance student to show their progress!

This is when a dancer or a group of dancers do a small display of what they have been learning recently.
For example, if you go to a dance school (as many young school age people do in the UK) at the end of school term - maybe 2 or 3 times a year - they put on a display, so that the parents can see the progress of their children. This is called a 'dance recital'.
Sometimes this is part of the preparation for a full performance, where the different competencies of the dances can be evaluated.
