What's the difference between "mushy" and "cheezy"? Like mushy movies and cheezy movies, how different are they? Thank you in advance.

Both can mean over the top and embarrassing in the right contexts. I'd think of mushy as overly sentimental and cheesy (spelled with an s) as not very original and embarrassing.

Mushy means there's a lot of romantic stuff. Cheezy means it's inauthentic and makes you cringe.
