Rain showers today meant a change of plans for our performance – it was moved indoors to the mall! Surprisingly, and it totally made sense, the crowd was even bigger than expected.
Mom's best friend was a lifesaver, helping me with my hair and makeup. Despite the rain, I felt warm and confident. My part went flawlessly – no shivers or stage fright here!
A few kids who went up before me seemed scared, one even looked close to getting sick. But I held my nerve, and guess what? I was the first to get applause! My teacher was beaming with pride, and I couldn't have felt happier. This was a true triumph!
