We English speakers wouldn't say this, but it basically means "therefore", or to consider it as such. It is shortened from the word "inasmuch" which is a funny English word that is literally "in as much" condensed as one word.

It means 'therefore'. Though it is not widely used by English speakers.

It's a misprint or a mistake. The words should be "as such." "Such" here is a pronoun. It refers to "Something inside a container with sharp ridges." "As" here means "because it is." The second sentence could be rewritten "Because it is inside a container with sharp ridges, it is easily damaged." Breaking the thought into two shorter sentences makes it easier to understand. Using the phrase "as such" means the writer didn't need to repeat what they had already said.
