and I hate dealing with dishonest people.?

"I hate getting people dishonest" is bad grammar. It should be "I hate getting dishonest people."
In general, you "get people" in situations where you encounter people. Calling tech support you "get" a tech who answers the call. You "get" a new employee in your group. Etc.
"Dealing with" comes after you "got" them (on the phone, in your group, etc). It means you interact with them. When they are dishonest you have to be interact carefully! 🤨
