Why isn't there a video save function to review past classes？And also AI function to summarize the highlights and mistakes in the classe?

Both of those features exist.

You can record the lesson if both you and the teacher are using specific browsers. Both you and the teacher must agree to the recording also.

You also get an AI summary of the lesson if the teacher enables that function.

Hello Chilli, I believe that it's not possible to save a recorded lesson in the italki classroom (audio only) because of privacy issues, but I might be wrong. As for the AI tool, I think that students can benefit from an AI generated summary of the class if the teacher chose the “smart lesson" option and agreed to have their lessons automatically recorded in the italki classroom.

Use a Mac. QuickTime. Screen record. But yeah. Never share students faces ANYWHERE!  Need consent and laws are very different country to country.

Also. I know my answer is only pertinent to Mac users. So I am sure windows or Linux ít Unix has sth to help.
