does "claim ticket" or "claim check" necessarily mean you have deposited your stuff and you have right to take it back or could it also mean you have right to acquire something that was not previously yours?
I'm asking this because I've learned that the claim check is used when you take your luggage back at an airport but then I saw some cases like claim tickets, and claim tokens and those seem to give the holders right to acquire something new.
I couldn't translate the whole situation. It was so fast for me. Then again It seemed like that.

A claim ticket, claim check, or claim token would just be something that you exchange for something else to prove that it is yours. It would probably belong to you but another person could go and claim the item if they had your claim ticket.
I hope this answers your question.
