I am confused about the meaning of "if any" or “if anything”. Is there any explanation or examples? Thank you.

If any means almost none/not very many.
It would be helpful to have more context here.

Hi
I believe the word “any” is used with specific noun (countable) in mind! Examples:
Do you want any biscuits?
There weren’t any biscuits left.
Therefore we should use “any” when referring to something specific! If there’s not a clearly defined noun following it then most likely we can use “if anything.”
There’s also other uses of “any” such as an adverb and a pronoun! If you want to learn more then feel free to message me :)
