Practice Day 4/100 Recently, I read a book called Rules of Civility, written by Amor Towles. While I was reading, I found an inspiring quote. “Be careful when choosing what you're proud of, because the world has every intention of using it against you.” If making a huge amount of money made me proud, I might not put enough emphasis on health issues. Similarly, by putting too much focus on the past, I might miss things I should concentrate on in the present. I need to check carefully what is taking up all my energy, or I might be controlled by it without realising. (I want to bring my writing skills to the next level. Similarly, by putting too much focus on the past, there's a good chance for me to miss on important ongoing things. I should check carefully what occupied my whole energy else get controlled by it being unaware.
