The correct answer is "offence" (US spelling: offense). Here's why: While all four word have similar meanings and might be interchangeable to a degree in other sentences, the word "take" limits what you can use. This is called a "collocation," which is one a series of words appears together more often than would be expected by random chance. "Take" collocates with "offence", but none of the other options. Learning collocations in a language (all languages have them) is tricky, but important. The best way is to simply read and listen to as much of the language as you can, and they'll start to become second nature to you. Hope this helps!
