Hi friends, Do these two sentences mean the same thing?? 1. I have just been out of the bath. 2. I have just gotten out of the bath.

Been usually follows with a verb ending in -ing. For instance, "I have been bathing."

Almost, but #1 doesn't sound right. #2 sounds good. Try any of these as alternative ways of communicating the same thing: - I just got out of the bath / I just got out of a bath. - I have just gotten out of the bath. - I just took a bath. - I have just taken a bath. - I just had a bath. - I have just had a bath. - I was in a bath, and I just got out of it. - I just bathed. - I have just bathed. - I am freshly bathed.
