The book that had an impact on me is called “How Starbucks saves my life”. It is not about the store, but about a man who was kicked out of a giant advertising company in his fifties and ended up working at a Starbucks store. He was born in an elite family and received a prestigious education at Yale. At first he was embarrassed to work in retail industry. Also he had to work with people from different backgrounds and race from him. However, he finally managed to get through all the difficulties and found a true happiness in working hard and seeing people just as they are. The book tells me that even when I’m in huge trouble, you’ll found a way out if you’re willing to take a challenge.

You could say “face a challenge.”
Sounds like a great book!

The phrase, "seeing people just as they are" is excellent and very natural.
