I felt resigned to the fact that it would take so long I didn't know if I could persevere, or I just had to let it go. I began a cycle of meeting the challenge with regular practice and then getting disheartened and stopping altogether for a period of time. There were good things to it though. This challenge made me view failure in a kinder light. When you fail, you pick yourself up and try again the next day as though you would succeed in the next minute. That is precious.
