How much does 36,000 rub/month for a personal assistant feel like to a Russian? Does it provide a good living wage? Is it a lot? Or not enough? I understand it may differ between Moscow and rural areas, but in general where typically similar work is found.

That is like working for peanuts. 36 Russian grand is less than 500 dollars per month. In Moscow, It would merely be enough to rent a room in a crib in a shitty, ghetto-like suburban area and to pay off your groceries expenditure. So, with such a salary, you can forget about a fancy lifestyle. On average, Personal assistants are bound to count on a salary of 1200 per month in case If they qualify for the job and this works for people living in large cities like Moscow or St.Petersburg. Regarding rural areas, I would say that no life exists there, since all provincials one way or another work in the aforementioned large cities. There is an abnormal social and economical disparity between townees and provincial folk.

It depends on a lot of factors. For example if it's a single young person, who lives with parents or in his own apartment - 36,000 is minimum in a small city (like mine). But as for me - I wouldn't work as a personal assistant for this money.

Hi James))) Yeahhhh you're right, 36000 rub is very good for the rural areas and absolutely not good for the big cities. Are you looking for the personal assistant?
