On Saturday, we went to a tourist attraction called Lala Falls in Yarra Range. It's sort of far from the parking lot. We spent about one hour hiking there. It was rainy the other day, so the trail was muddy. My seven-year-old son accidentally fell down and got his pant dirty. He was a little bit upset. However, kids' mood change quickly. He forgot the disappointing thing and skipped along the trail happily soon. We found lots of different fungi by the trail. He was really excited to study the shapes and colours of fungi. My wife took many pictures. It's difficult for us to know the names of them, so my son asked me to take him to the library and borrow him some books about fungi today.

On Saturday, we went to a tourist attraction called Lala Falls in Yarra Range. It was sort of far from the parking lot. We spent about one hour hiking there. It was raining the other day, so the trail was muddy. My seven-year-old (you don't purposely fall down, so "accidentally" is implied) fell down and got his pants dirty. While he was a little bit upset at first, kids' moods change quickly. He forgot all about the disappointing thing and skipped along the trail happily soon after. We found lots of different fungi by the trail. He was really excited to study the shapes and colours of fungi. My wife took many pictures. We weren't sure about their names, so my son asked me to take him to the library to borrow some books for him about fungi that day.
Spelling-wise and grammar-wise, your writing is spot-on. The corrections that I've made aren't necessities but are merely suggestions that enhance readability. "Borrow him some books" would be unclear as to what object is being borrowed (your son or your books?). You would say "borrow him" if you want to actually borrow the person for a task. --> "Can I borrow him really quick?" means that you're asking someone if you could have him help you. It's --> is in the present tense. I changed it to "it was" to keep your writing to one tense.
