Today was a solitary day. I went for a small hike to a pond in a bush, close from my home. I wanted to see a new friend, it’s a bird pretty rare over here, named Baltimore Oriole. He was doing his morning toilet. Its wonderful plumage is a really bright orange and black. He is always on the top of the same tree, because his nest is there. There was also ten green frogs, swimming in the pond, I could only see their heads, they were bright under this sunny day, with two big sparkling eyes. The scene made me smile and cheered me up.
