"Cooking" is for food, not coffee. You can "cook" soup though.

I guess we say "make" coffee. We boil water in a kettle. Add the coffee to a cup/coffee cup/mug along with honey, sugar or some sweetener on occasion. Pour the hot water into the cup with coffee. Some people add milk or cream; some do not. Stir with a spoon.
